Family Seating Changed Before Flight
Our family booking looked fine when I first checked it, but the seat map now has us spread farther apart than expected. The flight itself has not changed, and I’m not trying to rebook anything. I mainly want to understand whether this is the kind of seating issue Alaska Airlines can still adjust before check-in, or whether the better option is to wait until the airport and ask there. We are on one reservation, which may matter.

I’d save the booking code, seat map screenshot, traveler names, and current seat assignments so the situation can be explained without retelling the entire trip. At that point, using Alaska Airlines phone number seems useful for asking whether seats can still be adjusted before check-in or whether airport staff handle that stage. I’d keep the request centered on staying together rather than changing the itinerary. That makes the conversation practical and easy to follow.
