Who We Are

Our Story

Founded in 1991, Chicago Jobs with Justice (JWJ) is a coalition of 40 unions and community organizations that mounts meaningful campaigns for workers’ rights and social and economic justice.   We are the local chapter of the national Jobs with Justice network.

In practice, we are a coalition of organizers. We are organizing timely, critically important campaigns with community and labor organizations. We are providing resources and support for activists and organizers at the individual and organizational level. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on our campaigns and upcoming events.
