Who We Are

Our Story
Chicago Jobs with Justice was founded in 1991 through a coalition of community, faith, and labor leaders who saw the need to mobilize and build solidarity and power together.
Since then, Chicago JWJ, with it's broad base of coalition partners, has accomplished big things for the workers of Chicago and beyond.
From establishing Chicago's first worker center to creating connections between immigration organizations and labor unions, Chicago JWJ has a decades long reputation of building people power through relentless solidarity.
