Civil Servants Speak Out! Round 3! (Zoom)

The Chicago Jobs with Justice Workers’ Rights Board and the Chicago Federation of Labor host a free public hearing to learn about what the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) provide to the public, what the workers’ experiences have been, and what changes the massive reduction in the work force will cause you. On March 10, we look forward to hearing from Loreen with AFGE-EPA and Denise & Aimee from AFGE-VA to talk about what’s going on with civil servants and the public that depend on their work at the Environmental Protection Agency and the Veterans Administration. This hearing will be followed in the near future by hearings on the work of the departments of Health and Human Services, the USDA, the Housing and Urban Development and the Food and Drug Administration, and more.
