Civil Servants Speak Out #5! (In-Person)

The Chicago Jobs with Justice Workers’ Rights Board and the Chicago Federation of Labor host a free public hearing to learn about what the Department of Education provide to the public, what the workers’ experiences have been, and what changes the massive reduction in the work force will cause you. We will hear from workers from the Dept of Ed and from workers from K through Higher Ed.

This is a free public event but we would request that you register so we can provide enough chairs and pizza for everyone!

This hearing will be followed in the near future by hearings on the work of the departments of Health and Human Services, the USDA, the Housing and Urban Development and the Food and Drug Administration, and more.

There will be time for questions and for sharing stories and experiences of your own.
