CPE’s Summer Institute is a week-long intensive training in economics for activists, educators, and anyone who wants a better understanding of economics. We focus on the how the economic system impacts our lives, communities and work every day. Although activists from all over the world attend the Summer Institutes, classes and workshops are taught in English. No background in economics is required.

Special Track: Economics of Immigration and Migration

What's the relationship between corporate-led globalization and migration? What's the impact of immigration on wages, jobs, state expenditures, and healthcare? What are the economic dimensions of race, class, gender and immigration? Come to the 29th annual Summer Institute, a week long program that demystifies the economy, brought to you by the Center for Popular Economics.
