Protest the Insurance Company Cigna

People, Not Profits!
What: Come Protest Cigna, the For-Profit Insurance Company
Where: 525 W Monroe St. Chicago, IL
When: June 19th, 4:30-6:30 PM

Over 47 million people in the United States have no health care. The private, for profit insurance industry in this country is the source of the health care crisis. These corporations deny hundreds of thousands of people health insurance. The Institute of Medicine estimates at least 18,000 die a year due to lack of access to health care. Reforming the health care system is a matter of life and death.

Health care is a human right and government funded, single-payer health care is the only way to ensure that every single person is covered. There will be speakers from Physicians For A National Health Program, California Nurses Association/NNOC, Chicago Single-Payer Action Network, American Medical Students Association.
