Walmart warehouse workers solidarity. Demonstration. Oct. 1, 2012, 2pm.
Walk with the Walmart warehouse workers [WEBSITE] and many Chicago - Joliet region labor and community organizations in solidarity. 2 p.m. at the Walmart warehouse in Elwood IL, 26453 Center Point Drive. Please make copies of the FLYER [.pdf] and give them out.
Walmart Warehouse Workers Are On Strike!
Rally for the workers October 1, Monday October 1st starting at 2 PM. Visit the Facebook event page (use of a personal account is not necessary to view the page).

The rally will be in Elwood, IL home of an industrial corridor of shipping and distribution.
These workers are taking brave action in walking out of the warehouse to protest health and safety violations as well as discrimination and retaliation against workers standing up for their rights. They need OUR help.
You can hop on a bus with Chicago Jobs with Justice leaving from 333 S. Ashland at 1 PM on Monday. PLEASE RSVP for a seat on the bus.
