The Labor Committee on Immigrant Worker Rights, a project of Chicago Jobs with Justice, are hosting a formal launch meeting and breakfast for labor leaders in the Chicago metropolitan area, featuring Esther Lopez of UFCW discussing the latest in immigration reform legislation. The breakfast will be hosted by Ron Powell of UFCW and Tom Balanoff of SEIU at SEIU Local 1 offices at 111 E. Wacker in Chicago.
